Description
2 Grape Rinsers from Daum of Nancy. These spectacular and very rare items are intended as tabletop vessels for the presentation of grapes in cold water. In the shape of a wine goblet, they do in fact hold the contents of an entire bottle (.75l). Produced in characteristic Daum style with a gold toothcomb rim and foot together with Venetian ribbing to the bowl. Probably made in the 1920s although they may be older. Acquired by us within a large collection of Baccarat, we believe that they have mainly been used as display pieces and are in very lightly used and undamaged condition. We have nine in total and It is very unlikely that such a number of Rinsers has been on the market in many years.
