Description

Two Baccarat Juvisy Claret Jugs and a large Decanter.  Baccarat Juvisy is the most prized of all old Baccarat and the design dates back to 1867.  It is the official Service Set of the President’s residence at the Elysee Palace in Paris.  These examples probably date from 1880-1914 and are in very fine condition with relatively few signs of use and have perhaps been used as exhibits only. Possibly the only known example of a comparable Trio of Juvisy on the market for some years.  The Claret Jugs are 31cm tall and the decanter is 35cm (14”).
