Description

A footed Decanter by Baccarat in the Lagny Pattern and in Cobalt Blue. Lagny was introduced by Baccarat in 1912 and hence near the end of the Belle Epoque. The ‘eye’ is synonymous with many Baccarat patterns from that era. This one was made sometime between 1912 and the signing introduction in 1936. In undamaged condition this decanter is possibly one of the most beautiful single pieces we have handled and the blue is quite sensational.
