Description

A Christofle Gallia Champagne Bucket.  The French Silver company Christofle started using Gallia metal (copper-tin) in the Art Deco period and these pieces became synonomous with the glamour of the period and furnished the liner Normandie. This is the classic and sought-after Champagne Bucket.  In good condition with the degree of wear associated with its age which we believe to be c1930.  The silverplate is not worn through and is a good and desirable example.
