St Louis Empire Style Nelly Pattern Toilette Belle Epoque

A Toilette set from St Louis with a Verre d’eau carafe and glass combination; 3 Perfume bottles (16/15/14 cm), and a soap dish.  The Nelly pattern has an exquisite ‘frosted’ etching gilt with fine gold in Empire style motifs – palmettes and lambrequins.  Absolutely the pinnacle of beauty and style in the Art of the Dressing Table.  In very fine condition with only minor gilt wear.  From 1900-1914 although the monogrammed drinking glass is possibly a later replacement from the 1920s and remarkably still carries the St Louis sticker.
